When Iowa Hospice was there, I knew he was getting better care than the staff was able to give when there were so many residents. The day when the care center called and told us to come, it was a great relief to have you there to help his death happen easier. Hospice and the nurses gave him medication so he wouldn't suffer. Also drinks were served. The chaplain was there. It made things easier during our loss."

My mother seemed relieved to have someone checking on her at home. By early October, she was hospitalized for complications and received hospice care in Jefferson for the last few days of her life.
